The agency said it expects ongoing market headwinds, slower-than-expected recovery in key regions and geopolitical woes to weigh on the company's credit markets in the next year to 18 months.
Meanwhile, the rating affirmation is backed by the French wines and spirits company's solid global market position, diversified spirits portfolio and large-scale operations, among others.
