03:09 AM EDT, 05/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI launched a new offering called Guaranteed Capacity that allows customers to secure long-term compute access to run AI products, agents and workflows, CNBC reported late Tuesday.

Customers can commit to one, two or three-year terms, with larger discounts tied to longer commitments, the report said.

The move comes as OpenAI looks to expand revenue and manage growing infrastructure needs tied to AI model development and deployment, CNBC said.
